Buttock Lift Procedure
A Buttock Lift typically involves incisions that are made at the top of the buttocks, and, in some cases, the hip and groin area. The excess fat and skin is removed, with the remainder re-sculpted and pulled taut to achieve a smoother and more youthful appearance.
In addition to surgical skin incision, and tissue rearrangement, fat injections can be utilized to enhance the buttock and give it a lift.
A Buttock Lift surgery is generally performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia, and can last anywhere from three to six hours, depending on the type of procedure as well as any that are performed in conjunction with it.

Recovery and Results
Following surgery, drainage tubes designed to help reduce swelling and drain excess fluid and to help avoid accumulation of fluids will be places, and removed when they stop draining, typically within one week. Any stitches that do not dissolve will be removed within two to four weeks. You will have to wear a support garment following your procedure to help reduce swelling.
Strenuous activities such as straining, bending, and lifting should be avoided for at least four weeks in order to improve scarring and to help reduce swelling. Most patients are typically able to return to non-strenuous work within two to four weeks.
Once your incisions are fully healed and swelling has subsided, you will be able to enjoy a newly sculpted and reshaped buttock. The actual healing time will vary according to the patient as well as the procedure itself.
