Dr. Guy Stofman is Chief of Plastic Surgery at The Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, and Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine. Dr. Stofman is double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He attended Villanova University Class of 1979 as an undergraduate and then went on to receive his medical school degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pa in 1984. Dr. Stofman completed his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA, in 1989, and Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh in 1991. A nationally recognized expert in many aspects of plastic surgery, he is past president of the Pittsburgh plastic surgery society from 2001-2003, and in 2004-2005 was President of the Pennsylvania State Society of Plastic Surgery. In 2005, he was inducted into the American Association of Plastic Surgery, a prestigious organization of plastic surgeons voted on by other esteemed members in his field. Dr. Stofman frequently lectures nationally and has published over fifty articles in plastic surgery. He has been a guest on the nationally televised NBC Today show, discussing his worldwide publications on plastic surgery. He has a broad based practice with extensive experience in Cosmetic and Plastic Reconstructive surgery. He is a proud member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery as well as the American Society of Aesthetic Surgery. He is happily married to Lori and together they have seven children. He is a passionate boater, loves family, sports and travel.
Lori J. Delaney is a certified Esthetic Rehabilitation Specialist. She is state licensed in skin care and has been practicing the art for over ten years. She is certified in camouflage coverage, and has been serving the Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh trauma and burn patients since 1996. She has additional training and certification in micropigmentation for the use of permanent cosmetics, as well as its use in reconstructive surgery. She has a large skin care practice, and is very active in the skin care and makeup in pre and post operative cosmetic surgery patients. She is recognized nationally as an expert in pulsed light photorejuvenation techniques for various skin disorders such as rosacea and skin pigment problems. She was an early pioneer in the clinical trials for using light as a tool for hair removal, and teaches physicians and their staff on the various techniques of laser hair removal. She has one of the countries largest light/laser hair removal practices.
